My Story

Hello lovely people,

THANK YOU for stopping by! As you know already, I am no athlete but I do love a good old challenge and, most importantly, love love LOVE theatre. So I am putting my running face again, for a very good cause, very close to my heart... 

I wouldn’t be me if I hadn't taken part of my Bulgarian nursery end of year shows (aged 4, playing the narrator and telling the audience alternative endings to fairy tales); I wouldn't be me either if I hadn't performed in the theatre group at school, 6 years in a row, playing mostly male characters and finding a true family in my theatre buddies.

I certainly wouldn't be here, today, working in one of the most exciting Off-West End theatres, in one of the most theatrical cities of the world if it wasn't for the generosity of other people working in the field, creating opportunities for young people to fly and succeed.

So it makes a hell lot of sense to run raise funds so that others can discover the magic of theatre!

Please donate generously to support the Arcola Youth Theatre - with five of the staff we are running to fund 20 bursaries for 20 young people who wouldn't otherwise be able to take part. We are also joined by other members of the Arcola community and I hope we can celebrate theatre, Hackney and how lovely it is to come together, on 20th May (after I pass out)
